It isn't very often that you can put a jacket on and go enjoy a great day of fishing in March, but we did. March 29th Chad took the day off and we went to our favorite local pond in Clearfield. We all caught fish...and more fish. The boys love to go fishing and I even got me a license this year so Fish beware!
I have some of the most amazing friends in my life. I can't even begin to thank them for what they have done. They put together a boutique/bake sale to raise funds to help us pay for the great cost of fighting cancer...in New York. They put so much time and effort into it. On top of that everything was donated by someone who found a link to us in some way. In a time where all we hear is how bad things are...I have found a renewed faith and trust in people. People are so good! Thank you to all involved...if you haven't seen them already...Miracles are happening and you are apart of it!
Here we are in New York city...where dreams come true! Right? Yes they do. Chad left on March 10th to begin radiation treatments on the 12th. I flew in on the 13th and we had the most wonderful week. What more could you want...walking around all morning seeing the sights of NY (24 miles in 4 days to be exact), taking hubby to his daily BBQ at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and then spending the nights with the coolest family in NY. We enjoyed every moment.

The treatments went as planned. No hang-ups or bumps. Now we watch and wait for the miracles of modern medicine, with the help from Our loving father in Heavenly, to take place.
This is what happens when you get bored waiting, waiting and waiting to see the doctor.
You can't go to NY with out hitting the Lego Store. I think I was the most excited. I LOVE LEGOS!
Chad and I are so thankful to Dave, Jen and their wonderful kids for putting up with us. They sacrificed a lot to have us in their home and we are truly thankful. The burden of fighting cancer so far away from home was lightened greatly knowing we had a place to stay and the love and comfort that comes from being with family. Thank you so much. You are all so amazing!
P.S. Chad and I have never had so many pictures of us together since our wedding day. Fun!
