Radiation

Chad finished up 30 radiation treatments as of the 14th. He was really glad to be done. The result of having gone through this is shown in the pics. The sunburn is not from the sun. Radiation fried his neck really good and his back is a little pink. He also had a hard time swallowing but of course chad never complained. I take that back...in the time of 6 weeks he complained twice. I am sure he will appreciate me putting this on here. :) He complained that his mask was started to smell. (easy fix with a little alcohol wipe) and during his very last treatment he had a bad stuffy nose and after they bolted his head to the table he could barely open his mouth enough to breath. I personally would have been screaming, kicking and feeling like I was suffocating but chad simply endured it knowing it was the last treatment. My husband is tough as nails. We now start the 3 month check ups again. Hoping, praying and having faith that this is the end.
