Here we are at the City of Rocks. This is by far one of my boys (all 3) favorite places to go. However, this time around it started out very unpleasant The weather was awful. So cold and windy. Wade and I hardly left the camper the first day. Thank goodness Chad was persistent on convincing me we needed to buy a Buddy heater for our camper. Without it I would have froze and we probably would have gone home early. Thanks Chaddy. Also, being 5 months prego it wasn't fun going out in the freezing weather to go potty in the middle of the night. Finally, the sun broke through long enough on Saturday to take the boys climbing. It was still very cold.
Ethan on the rocks. He climbed the furthest of all the kids and of course he had to stop and pose half way up. Such a crowd pleaser.
Here goes Wade. He has a fear of heights so the fact that he loves climbing is amazing. He does a great job and LOVES IT!!! He doesn't stay on the ropes long but he always wants another turn.
Sunday morning we packed up and got ready to leave. We had to take advantage of the beautiful scenery and go on a nature walk. Of course, we were leaving so the weather was gorgeous! Aren't my boys handsome?!
